MemoryAgent is PackageFactory's own hosted memory service for AI assistants. Send it conversations; it keeps the facts that last, drops the chatter, and hands the relevant ones back before the next task, from a private workspace that belongs to you alone.
The problem
Every session starts from nothing
You re-explain the codebase, which service owns billing, and who approves a release, then you do it all again tomorrow.
Context goes the same way
A transcript records what was said, not what is still true. It grows without bound, repeats itself and contradicts itself.
Transcripts are not memory
A team's conventions, a client's contract terms, the reason behind last quarter's decision: stated once, then gone.
How it works
1. Send the conversation
Your assistant posts a transcript to the HTTP API, or runs the pfmem CLI after a session. Nothing is required of the transcript beyond being text.
2. We keep what lasts
Before the next task the assistant asks what is relevant and receives a short set of current facts, not a transcript, and not everything you have ever said.
3. Hand it back on request
MemoryAgent pulls out the facts that will still be true tomorrow, checks them against what you already hold so nothing is kept twice, and files them by subject.
A private workspace for every customer
Most services keep every customer's data in one big list and tell them apart with a label. MemoryAgent gives each customer a space of their own instead.
An API key resolves to exactly one workspace before anything is looked up.
Deleting a workspace removes everything in it outright, not hidden, not flagged.
An export reads one workspace, so it can never pick up a neighbour's entries.
